Muhoma Falls is located in western Uganda in Fort-Portal – Kamwenge road. The water falls are set up in a very peaceful, beautiful and yet very scenic area of Ruteete, characterized with cool temperatures. The falls are also within a walkable distance from Ndali Lodge, next to Lake Mwamba.
The water falls were formed as a result of River Muhoma which was due to a major volcanic activity believed to have taken place over two thousand (2,000) years ago. flowing over some boundaries into a forested valley with rocky surface that allows the water to flow over them with a refreshing splash as it cascades with a plunge pool where one can take a bracing dip. Muhoma Falls in Kibale
