We will fly you to Kasese Airstrip, the nearest airstrip to Kibale Forest National Park, where you will have the best of chimpanzee habituation safari. Then head for an amazing wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with high chances of sighting the rare tree climbing lions of Ishasha.
You will continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an exciting gorilla habituation tour, where you will have up to 4hrs, meeting the mountain gorillas.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport-Kampala
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Boma Hotel in Entebbe (mid-range), for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal Plan: Dinner.
Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale National Park
For the flying chimpanzee safari, you will get on a morning transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Kasese, the nearest airstrip to Kibale Forest National Park. The flight usually departs at 0745hrs, arriving at 1005hrs. You will then meet our driver ready for a transfer to Kibale forest with lunch at the safari lodge of your choice.
You will then get on an afternoon guided walk through the crater lakes area of the park, for an outstanding view in addition to cultural visits.

Day 3: Kibale Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today is dedicated for chimpanzee habituation experience. Start the day with an early morning breakfast and leave with packed lunch into the forest, before dawn breaks. You will first meet your guide and then set off to where the chimpanzees built their nests the night before. Because dawn is just breaking, the chimpanzee community you are going to be with for the rest of the day is just rising from their sleep.
Your day will be full, so your camera might fill up with quality pictures of the chimpanzees. You will also get to learn to identify them as individuals by their markings, sometimes scars and other unique features that separate them from the rest.
Besides everything described, don’t miss the most colorful butterflies, plenty of bird species, plants and trees that will amaze you, because the forest setting is simply awesome.

Day 4: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth Park
After an early morning breakfast, ready for Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, you will take on a guided walk around the swamp which will provide you the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna, and view a variety of colorful butterflies, birds and other insects.
Thereafter, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, while viewing the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges on much of your journey, at leisure.
After lunch, take on an afternoon launch cruise along Kazinga Channel – one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippos, buffaloes, giant African elephants, kobs, the occasional Nile crocodile and a spectacular bird watching all dashing along the mighty water bank. Many who have experienced this launch cruise consider it the “highlight” of their entire African safari.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth Park – Ishasha
Dawn a game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Queen is famous for tree climbing lions, giant African elephants and various antelopes like kobs. Expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hogs, waterbucks and some bushbucks. There are more than 638 recorded bird species in the park!
You will later on proceed to Ishasha sector to take on yet another evening game drive in search of the astonishing tree climbing lions.

Day 6: Ishasha – Bwindi
Enjoy an early morning guided bush walk for a closer interaction with nature, then proceed for mid-morning game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. Thereafter, you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable, which journey takes about 5 hours driving through interesting rainforest features.
You will arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – a park known as a home for the rare mountain gorillas.
Apart from gorillas, there are wide variety of primates to see, including the blue and red tailed monkeys. The forest itself is lush and green with plenty of streams running through it.

Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Experience
Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00am after a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority staff. Ensure that you carry a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks and jungle boots among other gears, because of the forest experience ahead.
Join the researcher and guides who will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas, because this may take up to 4 hours; perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
The habituation experience will take a day but it’s well worth the effort.

Day 8: Fly from Bwindi – Entebbe
After your morning breakfast, be ready to be transferred to Kisoro Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe Airport. Departing at 0910 and arriving at 1125, for your onward connection back home or to your next destination. Meal Plan: Breakfast
