    Day 1: Kampala – Kibale National Park:

    Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just below the Ruwenzori Mountains. The embark on an afternoon guided birding safari in Kibale Forest, looking out for the Green-breasted Pitta and other species like Yellow-billed Barbet, African Emerald Cuckoo, Black-billed Turaco, Narina Trogon, Blue-shouldered Robin-chat, Sabine’s Spinetail, Chestnut Wattle eye and Narrow-tailed Starling among others.

    Make sure that you don’t miss other primates like Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboons, Red-tailed Monkeys and L’Hoest’s Monkeys among others.

    Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Kibale

    After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzees in Kibale forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90%, with a guarantee. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small other species, thus making it interesting. This nature walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys and L’Hoest’s Monkeys.
